IOSH Working Safely
IOSH Working Safely is designed for people at any level where health and safety is critical to their role. Especially suitable for new starters, this thorough one-day course will provide an essential introduction to the basics of safety in the workplace, from identifying potential issues to taking practical steps to limit them wherever possible.
Because this course focuses on best practice rather than legislation, it’s suitable for candidates from around the world, and not just those from the UK. With this in mind, it’s also jargon-free and full of practical, real-world examples that delegates will be able to relate to their own working environments. A host of interactive study modules, PDF texts, exam simulations, practice questions, knowledge checks and videos are provided too.
With IOSH Working Safely, there’s minimum disruption to working days and shifts. The one-day programme includes the assessment, so there’s no extra time required for a test after the course.
The assessment consists of a 10 question, multiple-choice paper, which delegates will be given 20 minutes to complete, along with a hazard spotting exercise.
Once completed, delegates will be awarded a certificate from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) – a nationally recognised and respected industry body.
Learning with the Francaster House Ltd will enable delegates to benefit from our extensive experience in health, safety, fire and environmental management, acquired over the last few decades. During this time, we’ve worked in many different industries from facilities management, food and drink, healthcare both NHS and private, retail and general office.

We can visit your organisation and deliver bespoke training on site, tailored to your needs and any potential issues that might be unique to your business. This option will also enable you to save on travel and accommodation costs, whilst training a whole team at your workplace is often more cost-effective too.
Learning within the workplace allows delegates to take time out to study whilst being available to respond to emergency situations if required. Being on site and learning with colleagues can make it easier to gain practical, relevant advice too.
We can also offer IOSH Managing Safely at a number of comfortable, well-equipped and fully accessible training venues, away from the distractions of the workplace.
The course is delivered over four days by highly qualified and experienced instructors, in an interactive and engaging manner.
